Who I am
Hi, I’m Zaina, the baker behind Two Birds Bakehouse.
My love for baking was shaped first and foremost by my grandparents. Growing up in a Lebanese household, food was everything — it was how love was shown, stories were shared, and everyone felt welcome. Some of my favorite memories are in the kitchen with them, learning that baking wasn’t just about recipes, but about patience, generosity, and heart.
While my grandparents gave me my passion and appreciation for tradition, my dad — who was also a baker — taught me the craft itself. Watching him work showed me the discipline and care that goes into truly great baked goods, and that foundation still guides me today.
Before starting Two Birds Bakehouse, I worked as a health coach, which continues to influence how I bake. I believe desserts should feel good to enjoy — made with quality ingredients, thoughtful balance, and intention. I love creating treats that feel special without being overcomplicated, indulgent yet mindful.
Everything at Two Birds Bakehouse is made in small batches with love and purpose. My desserts are inspired by family, heritage, and the simple joy of sharing something handmade. Whether you’re celebrating a special moment or just stopping by for a treat, I hope my baking brings you the same warmth and comfort my grandparents brought to our table.
